The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it's alarmed regarding the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider place established for intervention experiences a high influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for sassa status your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to enable the servicing of all prospects and maximize usage of Social Assistance sassa status check products and services,” the agency said.
